I grew up listening to: All kinds of music was played around my house, but of course Hip Hop is what got me. A whole lot of Nas. I’m from Queens, so he was like dopest rapper ever to me. I listened to Jay and a lot of other dope artists of the times. Next to them, I listened to a lot of T.I, and Kanye. I think they might have been the biggest motivating factor in making music for me. I think they both by far have the greatest song structures and carry out themes and topics in songs better than most. – XXL

Tieran is a Columbus-based rapper and record producer from Lancaster, Ohio. Since the age of 6-years-old Tieran has been completely absorbed in music, frequently attending punk rock concerts with his parents which has clearly molded him into the artist he is today. Tieran has a mixture of unapologetic, conscious lyrics, intoxicating energy, and a dapper yet funny demeanor. He’s performed alongside acts such as KYLE, Joyner Lucas, Hopsin, & more and has been featured on the likes of EARMILK, 2DopeBoyz, and the radio station WCKX. Using his legal name as his artist name was a conscious decision by Tieran to symbolize how his music is a reflection of his life with no alter egos or persona’s. In a music industry saturated with un-originality and lacking personality Tieran distinguishes himself by creating music that is as honest and unique as he is.
